Metal foamboard hangers are designed to hang pictures that have been mounted on foamboard ("foamcore board") but are not framed. Hangers attach to the back side of the board and allow you to display the picture on your wall "floating". Metal hangers attach to the foamboard by means of sharp, angled metal anchors that are pushed through the foamboard face cardboard on the back side and into the polystyrene foam core.
